I am incredibly excited to introduce you to the two newest members of the Love Foundation team: Dr. Stephanie Graff and Dr. Lina Romero. Expanding our team with these two wonderful physicians will broaden our perspective and reach in myriad ways. Both women bring unique insights to the work we are doing to figure out what causes breast cancer, where it starts, and how we can prevent it. Drs. Graff and Romero will ensure we are up to date on the latest therapies and their side effects. They can also help us move forward with the breast cancer research they believe will be most relevant to their patients.

Dr. Lina Romero is a breast cancer surgeon as well as a breast cancer survivor. She is especially interested in helping us to advance our research on the anatomy of the breast ducts and explore the collateral damage of current treatments.

Dr. Stephanie Graff is a medical oncologist who directs Clinical Research and the Breast Program at Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute in Kansas City, where she also leads their high-risk program and directs clinical trials. As you will soon learn, she is also a great speaker!

Both women have dedicated their careers to improving the lives of people diagnosed with breast cancer. I am looking forward to having new colleagues who have the medical expertise to push the Dr. Susan Love Foundation for Breast Cancer Research to the next level. Stay tuned! The best is yet to come!

Love Research Army

We combat the disparities that exist in research by challenging the scientific community to launch studies that are as inclusive and diverse as the people that breast cancer affects.
