Leading Charity Evaluator Recognizes the Foundation for Its Strong Financial Health and Commitment to Accountability and Transparency

(June 10, 2016) – Once again, Dr. Susan Love Foundation for Breast Cancer Research has earned a prestigious 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, the largest independent charity evaluator in the United States. This top distinction confirms that the Foundation exceeds industry standards, outperforms most charities in its area of work, and operates efficiently.

In rating charities, Charity Navigator uses an objective, data-driven approach. Metrics that measure accountability and transparency constitute a full 50 percent of a charity’s overall rating and reveal how closely a charity adheres to sector best practices. Financial performance metrics account for the other 50 percent. Leading financial magazines have praised Charity Navigator’s unique method of applying data-driven analysis to the charitable sector.
