About one in five women with breast cancer have HER2-positive tumors

Your doctor will test your breast tumor to learn what treatments will be most effective. These tests may show that your tumor is HER2-positive. About one in five women with breast cancer have this type of tumor. There are targeted treatments that can be used along with chemotherapy to treat HER2-positive tumors.
